SWING THRU SQUARE DANCE CLUB: 2022

Starting in less than two weeks, a new Choreographed Ballroom (Round Dance) Class will begin in the Lancaster area. Now is the time to get involved in this fun activity!

Classes will be held weekly on Sunday afternoons in Millersville at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, where DoPasO Square Dance Club dances. Class will start the first Sunday in March (the 6th) and continue each week. Starting time is 2:00 until 5 PM to include both beginners and experienced dancers for refreshing their skills. We are very fortunate to have Tom Denniston and Ellen McCabe as our instructors. They have vast dance experience, having cued for clubs, dances, conventions, weekends in 21 states and 17 countries. They have been teaching and cueing since 1975.

Each afternoon will be in two parts: a beginners’ class and then an experienced dancers’ class immediately following. It is important that new dancers attend each week to learn all the basic figures to build their skill level. Experienced dancers (angels) will help with the beginners. Angels, please plan to come at 2 PM to help the newer dancers. Open to couples and single dancers. Please invite your friends!
